Kakani Day Hiking

Kakani Day Hiking is a tremendously popular hiking route to explore Tamang heritage site and Panoramic view of snow-capped mountains. Kakani (2073 meters) is located in the Nuwakot district, about 29 km away and northern side of the Kathmandu Valley. Kakani is a stunning hill station with traditional Tamang settlement that offers the flamboyant view of Snow-capped mountains such as  Mt. Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Mt. Dhaulagiri etc. One can explore breathtaking sunrise and sunset view from the Kakani viewpoint.
